    Cost Estimate

• The standard cost structure can be freely designed over 4 levels , each cost position must be attributed to a standard budget position
• The tree view shows always the 100 %  of the cost structure of  the standard work packages structure
• The symbols in the tree view show , if the position is a summary position or an input position or if the cost estimate is lower than the contracted amount or if the position has not been foreseen in the project.
• All cost estimates can be input at any position or level with BEST CASE values and WORST CASE values
• The situation per work package shows all  related commitments , risks and invoices
• The period of execution can be manually entered or automatically be taken over from the related time schedules. They will serve as the basis for the progress graphs.
• Status reports show clearly positions where commitments are already exceeding the cost estimate or where the cost estimate is exceeding the budget.
• Special reports show only those work packages , where the commitment is lower than the estimate or those where the commitment is higher than the estimate
• Progress Reports based on the actual time schedule show the project trend
• Preexisting cost estimates  values in MS-EXCEL can be taken over with a special procedure
• All cost changes are recorded in an inaccessible history field

• The situation per budget position shows all  related commitments , risks and invoices.
• The values of the actual cost estimate can be automatically taken over as a  budget with a special procedure.
• All changes of the budget are recorded in an inaccessible history field

  

Target / Actual Comparisons

• Comprehensive reports are available to show any deviations between commitments,  cost estimates and budget.
• Traffic light symbols in the reports make it easy to spot the problem areas and to evaluate the effect on the overlying objects.
• This reports are available on all object levels, they can be given out according to the object structure or acc to the element structure
• Progress reports show the curves of  cost estimates and actual values over  the time axis
